The founders of Fortuna have been active in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem since as early as 2012 and are highly immersed in the digital assets sector. With them they bring track records of delivering success in multiple industries including but not limited to financial services, investments, secure data processing and management.

Connor Cantwell

Founder

Connor is an European partner with COSIMO Ventures who invests in the early stage blockchain and crypto ecosystem. He was Country Manager of Nielsen Ireland and a member of the European Board. He was also the Founder and CEO of 20-20 insights (sold to Swiss Post), appointed through State Boards as Chairperson of An Post GeoDirectory. Other than that, Connor holds Chartered Director qualifications and has a genuine interest in building solutions for the blockchain industry.

Juergen Hoebarth

Founder

Juergen is a veteran in the digital asset market and is an early stage digital assets investor and strategist. He is the founder of Tokenization Limited which is a decentralized blockchain and tokenization advisory, consulting & development syndicate. Moreover, he is a recognized name on the Advisory Council of the Digital Asset Association of Austria and has supported numerous innovative blockchain related initiatives including Blockpit and The Austrian State Printing House.

Brian Elders

Founder

For a number of years, Brian has been deeply involved in crypto and digital assets. Coming in with a long track record as a leader in finance and professional services worldwide, he brings in experience in accounting, treasury and quantitative finance.

He is the founder of Sors, a leading blockchain financial services company building solutions and products for the Web 3.0 ecosystem. He is also involved with other successful crypto projects. He is the co-founder of Token|lTraxx, a music NFT project that is revolutionizing the music industry. He is also the partner at Black Manta (security tokenization specialists), co-founder at Defactor (DeFi) and remains an advisor to a few other projects like Enreach and Ndau.

Overall, Brian is a great believer in innovation and passionate about the impact blockchain and digital assets can have on global finance.

Board level experience of international finance, operations (incl. change mgt. & tech.), fund raising, treasury/capital markets and consumer/corporate lending. 20 years of helping companies build fit for purpose and right sized Irish & Overseas operations and leading finance, operations, risk and technology functions. Experienced in the distinct regulated institution and and start-up mentalities.

With proven experience across different industries, Stephen brings an array of diverse knowledge and competence to the table. After starting his professional career as a lawyer, Stephen pivoted his career into the blockchain industry in 2016. He saw the potential that blockchain brings to the real-world and his forward thinking is what drives him towards innovation.
